As I accept my position as National Treasurer ,FLO I extend my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Jahnabi Phookan, President FLO,for including me in her team. I assure you that I will live up to the expectations that come along with the role I have been assigned. My heartfelt gratitude also extends to Harjinder Kaur Talwar, who brought me into the governing body last year. It was an experience that in a sense prepared and primed me for playing a larger role in FLO. This is true institution building.She is unparallel.She worked very hard to empower women I am taking up this position at FICCI-FLO at a crucial time in global and national circumstances when we all have to be prepared for exponential change in the working circumstances that we so assiduously created in the past so many years. Responses to the global pandemic have to be unique and FLO is equipped and ready to make dynamic changes to turn adversity into an opportunity for regeneration. I am acutely aware and ready to play my part in this dynamic resetting. I look forward to the role and responsibilities that come along with my position as National Treasurer, FLO. Under the last few Presidents, FLO has charted out a niche for itself as a dynamic, growth oriented and socially responsible group committed to the promotion of entrepreneurship and empowerment of women. It has planned very well the ways in which it will bring together the immense social and human resources at its disposal to create a bridge between various areas and groups in our country that need such synergies. Now these plans are tested and ready to take off to the next stage of perfection. I take this opportunity to reach out to the President, the governing body and all members of FLO to commit to them my time and energies in making this next level an achievable utopia.
